What We Believe

There is one God, and He is who He says He is, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  He is the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

God loves each of us incredibly—beyond human comprehension.  His love for His creation is immeasurable and He desires to be in relationship with us.  Because of this, He sent Jesus, His Son, to take on earthly flesh in order to restore the broken relationship between Himself and humankind.

In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His ability to serve as a worthy substitute for our sins, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father and His personal return in power and glory.

Salvation, through Christ Jesus, is by God’s grace, a free gift apart from anything we can ever do as individuals.  All of us have sinned and fallen far short of God’s standards.  We are reconciled with God through what Jesus accomplished on the Cross, when He died and rose again for the sins of this world.  Salvation comes as a result of one’s personal faith in Jesus Christ.

In the present-day ministry of the Holy Spirit, who indwells every Believer and enables them to live a holy life that honors God. He convicts men of sin, regenerates, sets apart Believers unto a holy life, keeps and empowers Believers day by day, and He is the Teacher of the Word of God and our Guide into all truth and Counselor for every circumstance in our daily lives.  The Holy Spirit does not present His own ideas, but imparts to believers only what He hears from the throne of God.

God’s inspired, inerrant, and authoritative Word (The Bible) is a guide for our life of Christian faith and righteous living.
